Fall sports and activities

We're nearing the end of our fall sports season.

Congratulations to the soccer team on their playoff win yesterday! The Lions defeated Isleboro 3-2 and will face Camben today at 4:45 (away game).

Field Hockey has a home playoff game today vs. Camden. That game starts at 3:45.

Cross Country Busline League Championships are this week, too, at Troy Howard.
GO LIONS!
Monday, October 22: Each fall, Lincoln Academy hosts a Pumpkin Run to encourage middle school students to participate in Cross Country. Students who would like to participate must have parents sign a permission slip and return that by Wednesday, 10/17 to Mrs. York. The participants will stay after school and take a bus to LA, but parents should plan to pick them up at LA after at 5:00 pm. The run is approximately 2 miles and the top 10 boys and girls get medals. All participants get to take home a pumpkin! Contact Mrs. York with any questions at myork@aos93.org.

SPORTS UPDATE:

  • The Lions Soccer Team lost their playoff game to # 1, undefeated Camden 7.  The game score was 6-2 and we played a much better game with them than in the regular season.
  • The Field Hockey team lost to Camden in a double overtime, penalty shots deciding game.  Thanks to Shep Brown for stepping in for the AD and keeping the AD/soccer coach updated!
It's been a great season for both teams!
