The Maine Broadband Coalition is running a speed testing competition among middle schools and high schools across the state. Schools are encouraging their communities to take at-home internet speed tests and the six schools with the highest participation will win a cash technology sponsorship. Anyone can run the test, not just those with students in the school and not even just those in Nobleboro, so please encourage anyone and everyone you know to run the internet speed test using the link below. In the long run, everyone wins when the Maine Broadband Coalition is able to provide the necessary data to support receiving federal and state grant dollars to expand broadband to reach more communities.
