June 1st! What?!??!!

 

It feels like the school year is picking up speed! Just this week. . . 

• Softball/baseball playoffs: The baseball team wrapped up its season at yesterday's quarterfinals. Congratulations on a great season overall!   The softball team defeated Bristol yesterday and will advance to the next round of playoffs this Thursday, 6/2 at Medomak. GO LIONS!
• Grade 6 just left (!) for 3 days of outdoor learning at Hurricane Island (6/1-6/3).  
• Grade 3 hosts Senior Buddies on Thursday. 
• Kindergarten has a surprise in store for Friday.

Next week's calendar reveals a variety of field trips; sports recognition for jr. high teams on June 8 @ 6pm; the spring concert--yes, it's back(!)--on June 9 at 6pm; and then Grade 8 will leave for their own turn at Hurricane Island. After that, the 8th grade will be rafting and looking forward to promotion.  All these things (and more) can be found on the NCS FAMILY CALENDAR

All library books are due back to the NCS library by the end of this week.
