- More TRANSFER STATION SIGNS have been made by the STEAM TEAM in the ART ROOM. This will help people figure out where to put their recyclables and trash! The signs will be delivered in March.
- Kieve activities continue to be a popular for many students--for one more week. Noah and Nelson wrap up KIEVE AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES next week, March 4-7, but we will see them here during the school day for a bit longer. We really appreciate Noah and Nelson's enthusiasm for our students.
- COMMUNITY READ ALOUD volunteers will visit classrooms on Friday. This is part of Read Across America, which often seems to coincide with Dr. Seuss' birthday celebration. (Guess how old Dr. Seuss would be this year? The answer is embedded somewhere within this post. ) Read on . . .
- Grade 4 will go to HIDDEN VALLEY NATURE CENTER next Wednesday, March 6 for an outdoor classroom experience. Please dress appropriately and either bring or pre-order a bag lunch
- NO SCHOOL for students on THURSDAY, MAR 14 and FRIDAY, MAR 15 (staff professional development days).
- When students return from the Mar 14-16 long weekend, we'll be heading straight into Trimester 3. We are growing up sooo fast. By T3, kindergarten students begin looking like first graders and 8th grade students are starting to resemble freshmen. To think you can see that on Center Street within 105 days of school!
- Nobleboro's TOWN MEETING is Saturday, March 16 at 10 am. Eighth grade students will be present to assist and host with coffee and snacks. This is a great opportunity for these students to witness town government in process.
Kindergarten students dined on green eggs and ham (in just under 105 minutes) during a recent visit to the library. Mixed reviews on the green eggs.
