Meet our new friends, Noah and Katrina, Kieve educators in residence at NCS. Noah and Katrina will be with us through mid March. They've been getting acquainted with students and are now ready to begin KIEVE AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES

This year's after school activities will include leadership team building, science, outdoor activities to name a few. Students, come to school prepared to be outdoors and also dressed in clothing comfortable for physical activity, whether inside or out.

Katrina and Noah would also like to mention that there is a Community Climb Night happening at Kieve this evening, Friday, 1/13th, 6-9 pm.  It's free to the public, with a suggested donation of $5/family. 

Moving on to some LIONS basketball news!!!!  

The Lady Lions won this week's semi final game. Next we'll be hitting the road and heading to St. George on Wednesday, January 18th for the Busline League South Division Final Game at 3:45.  

A fan bus for students in grades 6-8 will be going to the game. We'll leave right from school, the game will wrap up at about 5:15, then the bus will stop in Thomaston at Athen's Pizza for dinner before returning to school. Your 6-8 grade student must turn in their permission slip to Mrs. York by TUESDAY.  

There is no school on Monday in observance of MARTIN LUTHER KING HOLIDAY. Enjoy your long weekend!  We look forward to a great week when we return on Tuesday.
