The softball team ended their season June 3 in a quarterfinal playoff game against Bristol. The game started out in their opponent's favor, as Bristol scored 9 runs in the first half of the inning. It took the Lions a little while to get going, but they started playing better in the field and getting some hits, which led to runs. The score ended up 16-13, with the Lions having a chance in the bottom of the 7th to try to tie it up and get the win, but it wasn't meant to be for them yesterday.
Our girls softball team ended their season 5-4-1, in 3rd place in the Busline League Small School South Division.
